Why Are RC Copters Good?
Remote control technology has improved a hell of a lot over the last few years and there are several reasons why getting a RC helicopter could actually be a very good idea.
Price
Many helicopters are very expensive but that doesnt mean you can get some of them on the cheap. To see a improvement on the cheaper ones then you are obviously going to need a better helicopter and of course more casgh. This actually leads be very well onto the next point I have.
Realism
The cheap copters that you may go out and buy for your kids are not the same ones that you should be buying for yourself, not by a long shot. Often these toys will only be able to hover for a short while and this is the difference between a toy and a machine. The more expensive ones are made especially to be just like the real thing. The are on the other hand harder to fly but they do peform in a very similar way to the real life ones.
Building
Many of the RC helicopters have to be built and can take from 5-20 hours to build. Although many people see this as a bad thing there is nothing wrong with this if you are interested in doing this. It can be something that is a great hobby to start up and make you feel pretty good because you know you have built it all upo.
Competition
Although many people will in fact just build these for their own use there are many competitions for these types of things and the advanced form of RC flying is called 3D. Basically you can go out and attend one of these to see what goes on, they peform so many different stunts it is pretty cool.
Crashing
Finally, there is no need to worry about crashing and losing a part as you can purchase RC helicopter spares for quite a reasonable price and the alternative to the copter is of course RC aircraft.
